When we were out to see my dad last summer in South Dakota I made sure Steve took a picture of me with my dad... the 2 of us together. We had a wonderful time. I always enjoy going home... I haven't lived there since I was a child... but the Midwest states will always be home... It's were my family lives... it's where my roots are... all my aunts, uncles and cousins... and I have a slew of them... it's where my grandparents lived... and now where my dad has lived these last couple of years... it's been nice going back... It's nice being home with my dad.When I was going through photos to scrap from our trip, I knew I had to do this one. I remember it was our last day there... the last moments we would share in each others company, until our next visit... and in that moment... I was already missing him... I love my dad!
