Very tired today!!!

* Well, I've had to go to our office in Orange County for training the last 2 days and today... and today is the last day... can I tell you I'm thankful!!! It's been a bit hard on my body getting up at 3am to be in the office by 5:30am... I'm enjoying getting off at 2pm but honestly I'm not much use when I get off... and that's not good with a 4 year old to take care of...


* The training has been great - learning a lot... it's been on InDesign... still not crazy about it, but I'm feeling better about it. It will be a slow road ahead for a few weeks but I'm sure in a month or two it will be old hat... It's funny this is the first class I've EVER taken for an application... I've been self taught on everything I've ever done... so this is new... and in some ways great, because I don't have to figure things out.... it's being given to me... nice...


* As for scrapbooking... I'm working on a LO for a contest. Haven't started it yet, but have ideas running through my head.. so I'm hoping it will go okay and be one of those really quick LO that turn out great... because with not getting to spend much time with my daughter this week... scrapbooking is more on the back burner, my focus to be this weekend is my daughter.... so I guess that means getting up early and doing it before she wakes... but then that's when I do a lot of my scrapbooking... although I love doing with my Rainee-Bear... we have so much fun together...


* As for the videos... I'm still working on one... it's hard with family, work and everyday life... trying to get everything you want done, is pretty hard... so I'm still working on it... hoping to have it done soon.

so, i've been busy

Well, it's been nearly a month since I've been on here... it's so hard with work, family, home and trying to get a business going... and do videos... and the blog... and try to do a contest entry... I've been up to my eyeballs in stuff to do... and honestly it sucks.... I hate the fact that I can't do everything... especially do the things I want to do...

so, this is my attempt to do more than just one thing today... today, I'm doing my blog... entering the scrapbook etc contest, going to work, spend time with my daughter... and who knows what else I'll accomplish today... all I know is I have too much to do and not enough time...

do you ever feel that way??? I really don't think I'm the only one... but sometimes it sure feels that way...

okay, enough rambling... here are the contest LO's I've done... I think they are great... but then... I've only made it into the top 10 - one week... surely this week I'll have better luck... anyway... they are... my entries...

And also my latest video... doodling... I have one in the works... hoping to get it out next week... well, that's it for now... enough ramblings from this busy, busy.... mom, wife, chief cook and bottle washer, employee, scrapbooker! have a great day...

EverydayScrapbook - Sticker Video

Well, after playing with my daughter last night... eating dinner... and making (Slenda) chocolate cupcakes... I realized we still hadn't done the video intro... Rainee really didn't want to do it, until I brought out my macBook to do the video intro with and then she got really excited... so after several takes... because we were both tired... and Rainee had the hick-ups... we finally got it done and I finished it this morning - - I did the video instead of exercising...

Everyday life has been busy and I've had to put the videos on hold... actually that's not completely true... last weeks is done except for the intro with Rainee and I... but that hasn't happened... then This weeks is almost done... few tweeks here and there and the intro with Rainee... and it'll will be up. The scrapbook layout video for last week is on changing your stickers into something else...

As for this week, it's on doodling... and because polka dots remind me of laughter... the paper and embellishments are polka dots... kinda fun... I like it hope you do...

Scrapbook off the page - Summer Fun

Rainee and I had a great time doing this project. If you noticed there were times, she was more interested in the flashlight than the project, but then what do you expect from a very active 4 year old. Although, when it was all said and done she fell in love with how great the window turned out. She now says her new favorite color is 'yellow'. - - We'll see how long that lasts.

I hope you enjoyed it at much as I enjoyed doing it with my sweet girl.

This weeks project

Well, I hope you enjoyed the wax paper and crayon project last week. This week we're going to do something fun, an off the page project. Rainee and I are going to show you how to make a faux-stain glass window... using what else - wax paper and crayons, along with some scrapbook embellishments. It's a unique way to put something pretty in your window for the summer... and a great project just for you or something to do with your kids.

So, if you didn't see last weeks video you might want to watch it or watch it again as a refresher so you'll be all ready for Monday's video.
